Treasure Hunt, April 5-6, 2025

Rebecca's Homestead held its first-ever treasure hunt fundraiser with the East Coast Research and Discovery Association (ECRDA) Metal Detecting Club on Saturday & Sunday, April 5-6. (ECRDA is the Northeast’s largest treasure-hunting club. Founded in 1983, the ECRDA has promoted the metal-detecting hobby to young and old alike for 41 years.) Approximately 60 treasure hunters showed up at the Wantage Elks lodge (the event's home base) on Saturday morning, and, after picking up their "treasure maps" and partaking of a light breakfast, participants scattered to seven different sites throughout Sussex County. The two-day event ended up raising over $10,000 for Rebecca's Homestead. All we can say is, THANK YOU, ECRDA!! (And plans are already in the works for doing this again, so stay tuned!)
