Treasure Hunt 2026 (Sat-Sun, April 18-19)

(East Coast Research & Discovery Association organized a two-day treasure hunt at twelve different sites (both public and private) throughout Sussex County, with all proceeds donated to Rebecca's Homestead. 75 treasure hunters of all ages -- from youngsters to oldsters -- converged on the Homestead on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19, to take part in the "hunt", coming from as far away as Tennessee, North Carolina and the three "islands" (Rhode Island, Staten Island and Long Island). (And we have it on good authority that every motel room in four local motels in Sussex was booked for that weekend.) Over $14,500 was raised! (Thank you, ECRDA!!!) Thanks, also goes to the 25+ volunteers who helped out. We couldn't have done it without you!
