5K Fun Run a Success

The Fred Barden Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk/Roll/Stroll was held on Sunday, April 14, at Woodbourne Park in Wantage. Over 100 people of all ages participated this year -- an increase of 25%! -- among them a large group of friends and family of Fred and Laurie Barden. The event opened with a moving tribute from Fred's daughter and son, Shannon and Kaelen, and Fred's longtime employer, Paul Miller BMW, graciously offered to underwrite all of the expenses.
